Within our school over 10% of pupils are members of a military family. As part of our provision, our club ‘Pitton Power Troupers’ meets each half term to enjoy creative activities and offer peer support.

Mrs Safe is our Military Champion and Keith Lawrence is our nominated governor.

The latest events have been linked to Wiltshire’s Festival of Friends project - a year-long initiative designed to strengthen pastoral support, improve educational outcomes and amplify the voices of Service children across the county.

Two Year 6 pupils recently travelled to the University of Winchester for an inspiring workshop with hundreds of children from other schools across Wiltshire to share experiences of military life and explore how schools can better understand and support the unique challenges faced by forces families. They then won the competition to design the logo used on all communications and advertising!
