YoungMinds is a UK charity that works to improve the mental health of children and young people by providing support, advice and resources for young people, parents and professionals. Pupils in school were passionate about the need to raise awareness for this charity and those who access its resources and support. They approached staff and the in school 'Wellbeing Committee' which consists of representatives of staff, parents, pupils and Governors with a request to have a 'Hectic hair' day.
