Houses

We have four houses at Pitton School: Avebury (red), Clearbury (yellow), Danebury (blue) and Figsbury (green).  Pupils are placed in a house when they start and will remain in that house throughout their time at school.  Siblings are always placed in the same house.

Each week pupils are awarded house points for work they have done, sports they have taken part in and for good behaviour.  Pupils also represent their house on Sports Day and during any inter-house sports matches.

House points are added up on a Friday by the House Captains and then added to an overall total.  The winning house each term is awarded a house prize.

House Captains are chosen from pupils in Kites Class after an election early in Term 1.

Pupils also take part in a House Parliament 3 times a year when they get to talk about issues that are important to them.

Look out for photographs of our Houses and new House Captains here at the end of September.

Our house points are added up weekly on a Thursday and included here.  At various points throughout the school year, and at the end of the school year, the winning house has a special house treat.
