This morning I had the privilege of taking 3 of our KS2 pupils to Chettle Farm in Blandford. We were joined by pupils from other Pickwick Academy Trust schools (Winterslow and Greentrees) and Iain from Salt Deli. Our visit had a focus on sustainability in farming. Chettle Farm supplies fruit and vegetables to Salt Deli. It was lovely to see a local business wanting to work closely with local schools to promote fresh produce that is grown sustainably. Iain hopes to return to school to shown our children how to prepare and cook produce and make tasty healthy meals
