Pitton CE Primary School was chosen for filming by The One Show as part of their coverage of COP 27. The One Show visited pupils of Pitton CE Primary School to look at how they are working to protect the environment in and around the school grounds. Filming took place during October with the footage being shown on Monday 7^th November. The school has recently worked with Surfers Against Sewage to become Plastic Free Schools accredited. Due to the hard work of the schools Eco Team they were highlighted as pioneers of how schools and children are passionate about looking after the environment. All the staff, pupils and parents have worked hard to ensure that systems and procedures are in place to be as environmentally friendly as possible and the children are always striving to stretch and challenge the school community to do more to preserve and protect the environment.
