Transitioning to Primary School

Additionally to our paper pack sent to our new parents, on our Class Dojo page we are providing pictures of our stay and play day,  information and on our Inclusion at Pitton Padlet guidance on how to support your child on starting school!

We will be adding a selection of different activities and resources to help children and their parents feel confident and ready for this transition.

This Includes: 

 - Video tour of the school made by our Wrens children, discussing all of the parts of the school they feel are important - This can be found on the Wrens Class Page

- Tips to support the building of independence in children before starting school in September - This can be found on the Inclusion at Pitton Padlet (Please see the Link Below)  as well as in links found below on this page! 

- Each Child is given a worry worm which can be used at home and put in a pocket when first coming to school which is also their School House colour (Green, Blue, Red and Yellow). 

- Class Dojo messages are available from set up in July for any questions you may have in regards to starting school.
